Series Description
Correspondence to and from Mary Lyon, 1818-1849. Correspondents include
Catherine E. Beecher, Zilpah P. Grant Banister, Daniel Safford, Andrew
W. Porter, and Edward Hitchcock. All of Series A is available on microfilm.
In many cases letters are accompanied by ancillary material such as clippings
about the letter(s) in question or, in the case of donated items,
letters of transmittal. The online collection includes all letters
as well as ancillary material.
Organization and Arrangement
